The 2017 French Championships were held over two days: the first one in Arzano ran Boardercross on July 28th; the second one ran Freestyle in Toulouse on August 26th.

The 2017 Mountainboard World Championships were held in Compiègne, France and included both Boardercross and Freestyle. It was also the first time the overall title was introduced.
